As expected, recent UFC welterweight title challenger Josh Koscheck will end his 11-month layoff when he’s scheduled to return to the Octagon at UFC 139 on November 19 in San Jose.
Koscheck announced on Twitter that he’ll know his opponent soon and added that there’s a “good chance” he’ll return the the middleweight division, where he fought while competing on The Ultimate Fighter.
Koscheck (15-5) hasn’t fought since dropping a unanimous decision to champ Georges St-Pierre in that won “Fight of the Night” honors at UFC 124.
According to ESPN UK, the most likely opponent for Koscheck is TUF 3 runner-up Ed Herman, who scored a first-round submission of Kyle Noke for his second-straight win at UFC on Versus 5 on Aug. 14.
