Jim Miller VS. Melvin Guillard

Alright so Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard is set to face off, and to be honest with you guys i'm excited. After Edgar VS. Henderson the winner of this fight will probably be next in line for a shot. So that's now where we go to my blueprint. This fight is actually fairly easy to call becasue fights like this happen ALL the time. A KO artist with great wrestling background and TDD fighting a Ju Jitsu expert with wrestling skills and adequate but not up to par striking. Now at times the outcome of these fights are the submission guy winning, but the KO artist wins too. So it really, to me, is a matter of choosing who you enjoy the most. I choose Miller because i beleive he has ALOT more potential then guillard, and in 1 or 2 years i see him either LW champ or a serious threat and contender that would be next in line. For this fight Miller needs to specifically work on head movement and counter striking. Guillard is a fast KO guy and he'll be looking to immediately test Miller's chin. Once Miller finds himself in the pocket he'll have to set up a sweep with some well placed counter hits and maybe a knee to the gut. If Miller could survive Gleison Tibau's muscling clinch then he could survive Guillard's. The key is to be smarter then Guillard, which isn't hard, and i see Miller even catching him and having a nice TKO or, hell, even KO by the 2nd or 3rd round. That or a 1st round sub ^^.
