Lightweights Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller will look to get back in the title hunt when they meet in the main event of the first UFC on FX event in January, the UFC announced Wednesday.
Guillard (29-9-2) suffered a 47-second submission to Joe Lauzon last month at UFC 136 to snap a five-fight win streak, while Miller (20-3) won seven-straight before dropping a unanimous decision to Ben Henderson at UFC on Versus 5 in August.
UFC on FX 1 is expected to take place on Jan. 20 in Nashville, Tennessee and also includes Pat Barry vs. Christian Morecraft and Duane “Bang” Ludwig vs. Josh Neer, while UFC on Fox 2 is rumored to take place one week later on January 28 in Chicago.
