Lightweight contenders Clay Guida and Ben Henderson have agreed to square off at UFC on Fox 1 on November 12 in Anaheim, California, Yahoo’s Kevin Iole reported Tuesday.
Only the UFC on Fox main event between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos will air live at 9pm ET, while Guida-Henderson will be shown elsewhere and could be televised if time permits.
Guida (29-8) earned a unanimous decision over Anthony Pettis in June for his fourth-straight win, while the former WEC champ Henderson (14-2) upset fellow contender Jim Miller in August to improve to 2-0 in the UFC.
The winner of Guida-Henderson will likely challenge the winner of October’s UFC 136 rematch between lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.
