The hits just keep on coming for UFC 133, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has been forced out of his co-headlining bout with Rich Franklin due to a shoulder injury. The UFC is currently looking for a replacement. Brazilian site Tatme originally reported the news earlier today.
UFC 133 has been decimated by injuries and only days ago saw main event fighter Phil Davis drop out due to injury.
While the UFC has yet to find a new opponent for Franklin, UFC President Dana White has tweeted they will search for a replacement. Strikeforce fighter Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal has taken to the social networking site to be given a shot but a crossover fight is highly unlikely as Lawal is still under contract with Strikeforce at this time.
UFC 133 will be headlined by a rematch between Tito Ortiz and Rashad Evans on August 6 in Philadelphia. The event also features a match-up between middleweights Yoshiro Akiyama and Vitor Belfort.
