Milton Viera, a Brazilian veteran who is credited with inventing the anaconda choke, has signed with the UFC after a single fight in Strikeforce and will drop to featherweight for his Octagon debut, according to MMAFighting.
Vieira’s debut has not yet been scheduled.
The 33-year-old Vieira (13-7-1) scored a first-round submission of Sterling Ford at an August Strikeforce Challengers event for the BJJ black belt’s third-straight win and fifth in his last six fights.
