Sounds like very soon we'll be seeing a headline for GSP vs Diaz. The Lacy deal is not really sealed. We should hear an annoucement soon!

the diaz lacey thing, lacey has signed the contract thats all i posted and it will happen if diaz doesnt get gsp

am i the only one who thinks diaz doesnt deserve gsp yet, he has not fought any top ten wws diaz is number 5 on my list for wws, he needs to test himself vs a wrestler of fitchs level, and even then i dont know if he will be ready because gsp is a whole different animal, i think nick and nate are very close to being equal with eachother, both have wrestling weaknes i give nick the slight edge in boxing and bjj but not much i would say nick is more aggressive with his jj but he needs to prove he can defend a shot because his record doesnt prove that he can

agreed^^. fitch would dismantle diaz untill or if he pulls a sub which i dont see him doing. And his only chance vs GSP would be a sub and GSP is far to careful, like we saw with the shields fight he basically kept the fight on the feet the whole time, he would pull a TD at the end of the round just to score points. The one TD shields did actually get didnt last long they were right back on thier feet in GSPs comfort zone.

Diaz is definently my favourite to win, he is one of my favourite fighters and is not to be ruled out no matter what. Diaz would easily beat GSP in a stand up war. Diaz would be too much in that area for GSP but ofcourse i can admit Diaz will be on his back for a good amount of time in the fight but in all seriousness i think diaz could slap on a sub and if he doesn't he wont take alot of damage. I think the fight could all come down to "What Diaz can do in the stand up, and can he do enough?"

he has no punching power... am i the only one that thinks so?

I Agree with you maby diaz dont have 1 punch ko power but after a couple of punches youll feel it

i love how people think gsp has no stand up, gsp stand is way better than diaz, diaz has better boxing thats it, how is gonna get in when gsp throws leg kicks and spinning kicks and head kicks, diaz doesnt check any kicks

ya maybe after a few punches he might black your eye, but in a fight you dont feel those punches. take the henderson bisping fight for instance bisping may have landed a few punches but hendo never felt one he was just zoned into knocking his head off the entire time.

GSP stand> Diaz stand. GSP has ko power hes just too careful to care if he knocks u out or not. He dictates the fight, period. Diaz will lose he may land a punch or two but the fight will go where GSP wants it to go, and in the end GSPs hand will be raised like fight after fight for him.

LOL did u guys see both there last fights. GSP stand up is not all that. Nick just beat a stand up guy by peppering and landing heavy body shots. Diaz will win

Also sab why do u think nick needs another fight before GSP. If there was different circumstances then yeah he would fight someone else, but since he's talking crazy trying to leave the sport, there gonna do what they have to do to keep him around. To be honest though, hes ready for it, and its a fight everyone is asking for.

gsp stand up sucked cause he was trying for the ko to shut all the idiots up, his main trainer even said thats why he was always throwing that overhand, the reason why diaz needs another fight agianst a fitch or kos, well simply both of them are better than diaz in the p4p rankings, gsp sheilds fitch kos diaz thats the consensuses top 5, dude i think ellenberger would beat diaz i think fitch and kos would and if sheilds and diaz fought shields would win
