"I have one fight left on my deal and we’ll see what happens (...) I’ve never said anything bad about (the UFC). I always appreciated everything they’ve done for me and for the sport. It appears newly crowned Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson is keeping an open mind in regards to a possible return to the UFC. Henderson signed with Strikeforce in 2009 after failing to come to terms with the UFC on a contract extension. In his last run with the promotion, Hendo posted a 3-2 mark, which included a highlight-reel knockout victory over Michael Bisping in his final appearance. Only time will tell, but with just one fight remaining on his current contract and news of Zuffa acquiring the Strikeforce brand, a return to the UFC octagon could very likely be next for the 40 year old Champion.
