With The Ultimate Fighter 13 set to debut on March 30 on Spike TV, the UFC today announced open tryouts for The Ultimate Fighter 14 for bantamweight and featherweight fighters.
Though no coaches have been selected as of now, bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and 135-pound contender Urijah Faber are rumored to be front-runners after previously being considered for TUF 13, which instead went to heavyweights Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos.
The former champion Faber must first get past fellow contender Eddie Wineland at UFC 128 on March 19.
For those interested in trying out, the casting call will be held at the Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport Grand Ballroom on March 21, the Monday after UFC 128 in Newark, New Jersey.
Fighters must be 21 or over, bring their own gear and must have at least three professional fights. Tryouts begin at 10am ET with registration between 8 and 9 am.
