Tatsuya Kawajiri will be dropping from lightweight to featherweight for his next bout. Kawajiri will face Joachim Hansen in his featherweight debut at DREAM 17. The news was announced via twitter.
Kawajiri rebounded from a loss to Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez with a victory over long-time MMA veteran Drew Fickett at DREAM: Fight for Japan! 2 back in July. The 33-year old fighter will be looking to revitalize a career after losing in attempts at the Strikeforce and DREAM lightweight championships.
